The Lower Midlands Collection aims to celebrate the Southern Midlands and its artists through a collection of artworks either developed by artists from the region or artworks depicting or representing the region. From an original collection of eight works, the collection has grown over the years to consist of 29 pieces with artworks either being bought by the Collection, donated or loaned to the collection by artists.

Artwork can be leased on an annual basis by organisations or individuals for a modest fee of $50 for the year.  Artwork is returned to the collection at the end of the leasing period (June each year) for re-lease the following year.   This gives people and organisations the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful piece of art for the year and lease a different piece for the following year.
